Fernet Branca Digestive / Aperitif Miniature 2cl Fernet-Branca is a truly classic Italian digestif liqueur that was created back in 1845 by a local spice trader named Bernardino Branca. The spices he used were imported from all four continents; with chamomile coming from the Americas, the iris root, lime tree and gentian root came from Europe, bitter orange, myhrr and aloe come from Africa and the saffron, cinnamon and galangal came from Asia. All the herbs and spices are then macerated to extract their full flavour. Once the maceration has taken place the liquid is then aged for 12 months in oak, to create this very popular bitter.
